One bright sunny day in Sedona, AZ. in 2003 Paul Lindsley glided into my Recording Studio.
His broad smile and 1970's garb brought a smile to my face as I greeted this somewhat eccentric and
charismatic man from Portland, Oregon who reminded me of Led Zepplin's singer Robert Plant.
'So you can put music to my poetry is what I hear?' were the first words from his lips.
"Yes, I can" I exclaimed in return. The rest is history! During the next year and a half
Paul would fly in from Portland, stay a couple weeks at a time, work with me nine to ten
hours each day as Poetry and Music flowed effortlessly. We were both amazed at the
process and the outcome of something so powerful we could hardly speak aloud about it.
That is when we decided to go "UNDERGROUND"with the Music. Although the music
took on the influences of Pink Floyd and the Moody Blues, we soon became aware that
it was taking on a whole new musical identity onto itself, both unique and unrecognizable.
We both had been on our spiritual quests for decades. We could only conclude that this
music and poetry was a Divine Channel. We have tons of history, experiences and spiritual
credentials between us, but do you know what? It doesn't mean a thing unless it is all laid
at the feet of the Beloved Creator. And that's the bottom line.
We concluded that our Music is meant to inspire those on their spiritual journey.
There are many soul seekers and they come in every color, every shape and size.
They may be homeless, downtrodden, tatooed and spiked hair.
The truth is that in our Souls we are all seekers for the truth, seeking to unite with our Creator.
In our Souls we are all of the same Essence, we are all One race, we all belong to One Beloved
Creator who calls us back to remembrance.
